Patrick spent 13 years working for Price Waterhouse and Reuters, and completed an MBA at London Business School, before realising that his interest really lay elsewhere. In particular, it lay in music, a passion for more than thirty years. This realisation led to a search for a new career, with music at its core.

That search led more or less directly to the founding of Moore Vyas Associates, with long-time friend and sometime colleague Vip Vyas. The result is the company that exists today.

Still an active musician, Patrick now divides his time between the music-based workshops that are the signature output of MVA, other business consultancy, and writing and playing music in and around his hometown of Croydon.
